SCHOLARSHIPS
We offer $500 scholarships to young people of Portuguese descent who are going off to college for the first time.  Applicants need to be from one of the five area high schools (New Bedford High School, Dartmouth High School, Fairhaven High School, Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School or Bishop Stang High School). Students may pursue any field of study.  However, one scholarship is designated to an incoming freshman who will major in Portuguese at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.
